Puppy Love Petwear Bandana Review

So very excited indeed...and very flattered! So many lovely compliments *blush* Here's a little excerpt:

" I came across a stall selling handmade Bandanas..they were SO cute! There was a little dog next to me who had just been bought one and he was sitting there proudly wearing it!...I was greeted with smiley helpful faces and more importantly dog lovers! I showed them photos of Darkley and said about how I was hoping to adopt Holly and all the issues we were having with that...

So with Holly home and more than happy to be dressed up I wanted to get some made for Holly and Darkley... The awesome thing is that if you want a particular colour or something extra snazzy for your pup they will try and do it if they can...As they are handmade they can be made exactly how you want for your pups and best of all at such a reasonable price- because dogs will be dogs and I knew full well that mud and all sorts will end up on them!... They can happily play in them too, they don't bother them in the slightest! They are also made with Velcro at the back so if the bandana gets caught it wont hurt them at all as it will just undo (which is good to know with my clumsy pups...but i haven't had any problems!)

...it is so nice to buy handmade things and not the same old stuff from pets at home! "

We met Mary and her Mum at the Dogs Trust Harefield Open Day back in August and we kept in touch through the Puppy Love Facebook page yet only discovered her wonderful blog earlier in the month.... I can't believe we didn't know about it sooner!!! Royal Wedding bandanas SOLD OUT!

Only 3 more sleeps until the big day... we bet Kate and Wills are getting excited now for their big day! Nervous too! We have been sewing like crazy here at Puppy Love HQ making our Union Jack print Royal Wedding bandanas and have sold so many that we are now completely SOLD OUT! If you would like a Best of British bandana, we will be getting more fabric in next week but for delivery by Friday, as Bugs Bunny would say, 'That's all Folks!'.

We are sooo looking forward to adding more pics to the Customer Gallery and are so excited and honoured to know that on Friday so many doggies across the country will be sitting down to watch the wedding in their Puppy Love bandanas and having lots of fun at all the street parties they are going to... let's hope there's lots of left over nommies! BoL! 

It's all getting very patriotic with the flags going up along the routes in London and it really is nice to see the country getting excited and the media covering something lighter. We don't like to be ostrich-like but sometimes all the horrors of the world can get you down and it's nice to have some light-relief. How lovely do all the flags look on Regent Street?!

Do sooo hope the day goes off without a hitch as there are fears about protests and violence from opposing political & religious extremists .... makes us angry! How disrespectful can human beings be sometimes?! *Hmpfff*

2011 is going to be a very exciting year for us all here at PUPPY LOVE and we can't wait to share it all with you! From lots of fab new dog and pet products to a tour of the UK doing dog-shows and fun-days in the summer... there's going to be lots going on!! We have missed u! We have been neglecting our poor blog for the last few weeks... we have been sooo busy though helping poor Mum sort out her disaster area of a bathroom *loong story which includes burst pipes and a soggy house!*... buying new fabrics & getting together our AW10 collection for you... and being throughly emersed in a series of books by the amazing author, Sunny. More on them in a later post as soo much to say...  but for today... a sneaky peak at some of our new fabrics!

We have also got some seasonal prints in...including sppoookkky Halloween & Christmas! Can't wait to get some fab items made up in them... will keep you posted!! :) x x

"Write a post, help a dog" - the Pedigree Adoption Drive Blog Hop! #Dogsrule

This weekend has been the special Pedigree Adoption Drive Blog Hop. For every blog post made Pedigree will donate a 20lb bag of dog food to an animal shelter!! What a brilliant idea! Animal shelters are always under a great deal of financial pressure no matter how big or small & donations like these will make a big difference :)

• Each year, more than 4 million dogs end up in shelters and breed rescue organizations. Pedigree created The PEDIGREE Adoption Drive to help shine a spotlight on the plight of these homeless dogs.

• This year the PEDIGREE Adoption Drive is raising awareness for homeless dogs by donating a bowl of food to shelter dogs for everyone who becomes a "Fan" or "Likes" the PEDIGREE Adoption Drive on Facebook. So far more than 1 million bowls have been donated.

• Special for BlogPaws West: For each blog that posts about the PEDIGREE Adoption Drive through September 19, PEDIGREE will donate a bag of its new Healthy Longevity Food for Dogs to shelters nationwide. It's simple: Write a post, help a dog.

• Thursday, September 16 through Sunday, September 19, the Pedigree BlogPaws bloggers will host a Blog Hop to help raise awareness for the "Write a post, help a dog" effort.
